Engineering Support covers the full range of mechanical and electrical engineering work for industrial and manufacturing environments.
Distribution boards, cable containment, power runs, machine hook-ups, lighting circuits, fault finding, and full rewires. We work across manufacturing, FMCG, retail, education, and hospitality.
All work designed, installed, tested, and certified to BS 7671 (18th Edition). Full documentation provided for compliance and insurance purposes.
Bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps — we carry common spares so most breakdowns are resolved the same visit. No waiting days for a courier.
Larger installation work includes ventilation, heating, cooling systems, and pipework. Available 365 days a year including nights and weekends for emergency callouts.
PLC programming, sensor integration, bespoke control panels, and complete system builds. We work closely with operators to understand what they need, then design the system around that — not the other way round.
Every HMI layout, button position, and interlock is built to make the daily job easier for the people running the line.
Most industrial sites still run lighting that wastes 90% of its energy as heat. We design and install LED replacements — high-bays, panels, battens, floodlights — that typically pay for themselves within 18 months.
Free energy survey included. We walk the site, calculate the savings, and present the numbers before any commitment. One project at Norit UK cut their lighting bill by 50%.
£3,000–£8,000 per machine (vs £30,000+ for enterprise SCADA)
Custom web dashboard connected to your existing PLC. Includes live production data, OEE calculation, fault monitoring, trend charts, and shift reporting. Deployed on a mini PC at the machine — no internet required.
What's included: Site survey and PLC programme review, dashboard design and development, kiosk PC setup and deployment, operator training and documentation, USB backup for disaster recovery, and 30-day support after go-live.
Optional: Maintenance contract at £500–£1,000/year
£1,500–£4,000 per machine
Add production counting, fault tracking, and OEE calculation to machines that currently have none. Works with existing PLCs — no hardware changes, no production downtime required.
£500–£1,000 per machine
How many of your production PLCs have a programme backup? If the CPU fails tomorrow, do you have a copy of the software? We'll connect to each PLC, upload and archive the programme, document the I/O configuration, and deliver a risk assessment report. Takes half a day per machine.
£499 software + £500–£1,000 on-site setup
A purpose-built Planned Preventive Maintenance application for small maintenance teams. PPM scheduling, work orders, defect tracking, compliance dashboards, shift reports, Kaizen boards, and PDF export. Live demo available at demo.maintenancetracker.uk.
£400–£600/day
PPM schedule creation, SOP writing, Kaizen board implementation, maintenance strategy development, and continuous improvement projects. Available for short-term engagements or ongoing advisory.
No. We work with whatever you already have. If it's a Siemens S7-300/400/1200/1500 or VIPA, we can connect to it directly. Other manufacturers (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Modbus-compatible devices) are on the roadmap.
Every deployment comes with a USB backup package and a disaster recovery document. A replacement PC can be rebuilt to a live dashboard in about 15 minutes using the automated setup script.
No. The dashboard runs entirely on your local network. There's no cloud dependency and no data leaves your site.
Those are enterprise SCADA platforms designed for plant-wide deployments with dozens of machines. They're excellent at that scale but cost £30,000–£100,000+ with annual licence fees. Our approach is designed for individual machines or small production lines where enterprise SCADA is overkill. If you need 50+ machines monitored with redundancy and a full historian, Ignition is probably the right choice. If you need one or two machines with a clean dashboard and real-time data, we're 10x cheaper and 10x faster.
If it's mechanical or electrical, we can likely help. Get in touch.
